XACRAT Extra Brut

HISTORY
The XACRAT brand is a tribute to the tradition in the elaboration of this noble product, a sacred legacy left by Juan Carrau Sust who in 1930, upon arriving from his native Catalonia, made his mark by initiating the production of Uruguayan bottle-fermented sparkling wines.

VARIETAL COMPOSITION
100% Chardonnay

WINEMAKING
In this sparkling wine we have achieved a unique expressivity of the Chardonnay variety from two harvests carried out at different moments in the development of the grapes of the same vintage. In this way, with grapes in different degrees of maturity we achieve greater complexity and a different style that highlights the potential of this variety.
The base wine was made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from Las Violetas, with high complexity, and intense aromas and flavors.

TASTING NOTE
In the glass it appears straw yellow in color, with greenish reflections, floral and tropical fruits aromas in harmony with notes of toast provided by yeasts. In the mouth it is complex and dry, maintaining its liveliness and freshness for a long time. Serve at 7ºC.
