JUAN CARRAU Sauvignon Blanc Sur Lie

HISTORY
Over the last 40 years, Bodegas Carrau has studied and identified the best blocks for each variety of grape in Las Violetas. These are obtained due to ideal conditions that occur in our vineyards, where the best aromas and flavours were achieved for each variety.

VARIETAL COMPOSITION
100% Sauvignon Blanc

WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected upon arrival at the winery. Then they are destemmed, crushed and pressed into stainless steel tanks and the clean juice is fermented at 16ºC.
Finally, the wine rests on its lees for 6 months, a process that provides complexity to the wine.

TASTING NOTE
White wine aged on lees, aromatic and fresh, with notes of passion fruit and guava, balanced on the palate with marked acidity that makes it an intense and vibrant wine.
Ideal to accompany white meats or salmon with cheeses. Serve at 10ºC.
